What is KnowWho?

KnowWho is a data content and services provider of contact and profile information for federal, state, and local government officials and their staffs, candidates, and related government affairs and media advocacy entities. We provide products and services on a variety of platforms developed primarily for those organizations focused on grassroots, advocacy, government relations, and lobbying.

Who uses KnowWho?

KnowWho is primarily used by organizations focused on grassroots, advocacy, government relations, and lobbying, as well as law firms, government contractors, retail and digital services corporations, media outlets, third-party developers, and consultants. Anyone who needs contact and detailed profile information on elected officials and their staffs at any level of government.

How do I find my Congressman?

Click the "Find My Elected Officials" button on the home page and enter your address information. You will then be provided with a list of all of your elected officials at the federal, state, and local level. You will also find summary profile information, phone number, website, and links to email or webforms.

How do I find my Congressional or state district number?

Click the "Find My Elected Officials" button on the home page and enter your address information. You can find your Congressional district number after the title of the displayed U.S. House member (for example, SC07 would be South Carolina District 7). The same is for state legislative districts.

Do you have non-profit pricing?

KnowWho strives to price all of our products fairly for all markets. While we don't specifically offer a non-profit discount, we do have programs in place to assist non-profits. Contact your sales representative directly or send us an email at sales@knowwho.com to find out if you are eligible.

How do I report an editorial update to your products?

We update our products daily based on the information we gather each day. If you find an error or an entry that has not yet been updated there are two ways to communicate these changes. If you are working within a KnowWho product, simply click the "Editorial Alert" button and a dialogue box will open allowing you to enter the details of the change and submit to our editors. You can also send an email directly to editor@knowwho.com All change requests are verified before we make the change.

How does KnowWho relate to Salesforce?

KnowWho is a Salesforce partner. We have a number of Apps on the Salesforce App Exchange that can be used to enhance your Salesforce experience. This includes directories of Elected (& Appointed) Official/Staff Data for the Federal, State, and Local Governments, as well as tools that can help your team succeed in a number of different ways including Government Relations and Lobbying as well as Grassroots and Tops Advocacy.

We do not have a database of election agencies or election administrators at this time. Check out our Candidate List Tool or Candidate Data Service for more information on what we do carry for candidates/elections.
